The Confederate Patent Office was established in Richmond. During the fall of Richmond all (or almost all) documents were lost. Therefore, it is impossible to find drawings or descriptions of Confederate patents. Totally 266 patents and 1 reissued patent have been known.

If other patents have been granted from November 1864 until the fall of the Confederates they are lost.
