Hey there
Just stumbled onto your website. I bought a couple old single shot shotguns just for a winter project to play with. I love the amount of info you have available. I hope you can keep this website open. If I ever have anything to contribute, I will be sure to do so. Thanks for the great info. Doug

Re your comment and pics of the 32 LF that the Montreal district bought (Qty 34)
Are there any markings that distiguish these as Canadian purchased? There is ref in the Canadian Handguns book to the LFs being in 44 vice 32 but no mention of where they got their info from Thanks very much for shedding any light on this and thanks for the informative site! Colin

I have my aunts Knockabout double barrell, side by side 12 ga shotgun 30 in barrell and I can't find the manufacturer. No other wording on it except for the serial number. I know this gun is at least 50 years old. Can anyone help me figure out who made the gun?

I have my father's Imperial Arms 22 short with a shoulder holster.
I'm not sure what year the gun was manufactured;however, I do know that my father had a license for this gun in 1940, when he owned a restaurant. Can anyone tell me the timeframe this particular firearm was manufactured? Thank you

I am looking for information on an H & A, five shot, .38, round 3 1/4" barrel, top break. It is nickle plated, break top, no model number or caliber marked on the piece. The top of the barrel is stamped, "Forehand Arms Col, Worchester Mass. USA. Patented De. 7 '88 and January 11 '87." Is there someplace I can date it by serial number? Ammo; .38 short S&W? black power? Appreciate responses.

I have a defender pistol...not sure of caliber size at this point, but it has a swirly design with small cirlcles ingraved in the metal all over the pistol. I have searched for one that has the design and have yet to find a match. It is marked defender on the top of the revolver. I enjoyed looking through your site in search of the pistol, which belonged to my great great grandfather...late 1800's. I would greatly appreciate any information you caould give reagrding it. It is a great conversation piece held in a case above the fireplace, but I would like to know more about it for the conversation
Thanks ever so much!
