 | Re: American Eagle Shotgun I have one as well. What did you pay for it? I got mine from my father-in-law. He owned it for probably 50 years. I'm trying to get an idea of value. |

 | Re: American Eagle Shotgun Markings - “American Eagle”, “Model 7”, “Pat No. 2926 445” “PROOF TESTED 410 GA 3” CHAM.” 25.5” barrel, pump, 5 x 3” shells in magazine; overall length 44” Patent 2926445: Magazine gun with manual reloading mechanism
Most probably manufactured by Noble Firearms Co. (Noble Mfg. Co.?), Haydenville, MA. Made inexpensive pump and single barrel shotguns from ~1950 to ~1970; sold under different trade names. After 1970, machinery was bought by Smith & Wesson which produced similar models for a short time. Note: GunBroker had similar model 70 asking $345 (see below)

 | Re: American Eagle Shotgun I have a 16 ga bolt action American Eagle Shotgun that was bought from a catalog co. that I believe was called Spiegels. It was purchased back in about mid or early 1960's. New the gun cost around $35.00. It was gave to me as a 16th birthday present and that was in 1970.I would like to know more about it myself. |
