Richard S. Lawrence entered Kendall & Company (Nicanor Kendall) and helped to transform
Kendall & Co, into a producer of machine tools.
Besides, around 1842 Benjamin Tyler Henry was employed by Kendall & Co. and later joined Robbins, Kendall & Lawrence.
