Direcotry on 1850 The lockplate of an percussion punt gun is marked W. L. Hudson. As these verry heavy guns, which mostly has been used for duck hunting in Maryland, were layed on the punt of a boat they are known as punt guns. Custom guns generally with no markings. Mark appears on the barrel of a 6 shot hand revolved rifle with solid brass frame. Identical to the Warner rifle. |
