Jacob Ferree was married to his cousin, Rachael Ferree. They had a son Joel (1771 - April 9, 1813
in Zanesville, Ohio) who was probably
a partner of his father in his business which was known as J. & I. Ferree (this could be
Isaac Ferree). In the War of 1812 Joel commande the 1st Regiment, Pennsylvania Infantry. Jacob died in 1807. His gunsmith tools were sold to Isaac Ferree. He belongs to the Lancaster School Kentucky Rifles and Pistols, U.S. Military. |
