Anthony Tetwiler, also known as Anthony Detwiler. Tax records, census records and directories refer to him as a Bedford County gunsmith. His parents would have been Jacob Detwiler and Mary Susannah Wenger. Anthony Detwiler was born August 20, 1810 and died June 19, 1893 at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 29 days and is buried in the Holsinger Cemetery near Baker's Summit, Bedford County.
