Pennsylvania percussion rifles, census of 1800. Custer was probably the americcanized form of Köster of Küster. Nicholas Custer was born in 1764 in Perklomen, Upper Providence Township, Montgomery county, Pennsylvania. He died April 27, 1840 in his hometown. He married to Christianna Stahl on November 20, 1792 in Perkiomen. Their children were William (1796-1836, Ann (1798-1876), Mary (1803-1867), Elizabeth (1805-1887) and Sarah, 1808-1954. |
